ECHO releases Jaymeister, Aspect, Invoker

ECHO has announced the departure of its three reserve players, Sunday afternoon.

Officially out of the squad is veteran Jay “Jaymeister” Torculas, Joshua “Aspect” Tating, and rookie Samuel “Invoker” Cruz.

Aspect and Invoker only logged in a series each in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight regular season while Jaymeister played the entire Week Two to fill in for Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura.

This is not ECHO’s first move in the offseason.

Two weeks ago, ECHO also announced that it has parted ways with coach Steven “Dale” Vitug.

Team manager Mitch Liwanag later confirmed to Tiebreaker Times that the decorated tactician is retiring from the scene for good.

ECHO had a strong start to the season but its campaign was hampered by COVID-related issues.

The team ended at 5th-6th place after losing to Omega Esports via a 1-3 result in the first round of the playoffs.
