Emilio Aguinaldo College has dropped the hammer on Ralph Robin and King Gurtiza.
According to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation, the two third-year guards violated team rules which resulted in them being meted a season-long suspension.
It’s a rough blow for the Generals who are currently struggling this season with an 0-9 win-loss record, dead last in the league.
However, it was necessary to suspend the two after also violating team protocols during the preseason, according to one of the sources.
Robin was the Generals’ third leading scorer averaging 8.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in seven games.
Meanwhile, Gurtiza who played six games scored 4.5 markers, 2.0 boards, and 1.5 dimes per contest.
Both missed EAC’s last two games this week against Colegio de San Juan de Letran on Sunday and San Sebastian College-Recoletos yesterday.
