Denice Zamboanga breathes sigh of relief as Seo Hee Ham passes hydration test

SINGAPORE – Denice Zamboanga versus Seo Hee Ham II is officially on for ONE X: Part II after the South Korean passed her hydration test on her second attempt at midnight of Saturday here.

Ham (24-8) missed the initial hydration test on Friday evening.

This resulted in Zamboanga (8-1) and her missing the ceremonial weigh-in at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

With the rematch on, both Zamboanga and Ham are looking to finally close out their rivalry in the match scheduled to take place at 6:00PM.

Both fighters’ last bout was back at ONE: Empower that saw Ham take a controversial split decision win.

Back on September 3, the two faced off in a first round clash in the ONE Atomweight World Grand Prix during ONE: Empower.

It was a banger of a bout that saw Zamboanga dominate on the ground to avoid the striking of Ham.

However, the three judges scoring the bout at ringside ruled the match in favor of Ham.

The result of the bout was blasted by fans, seeing that Zamboanga won the bout unanimously.

After a review however, ONE upheld the decision. Ham though was forced to withdraw from the Grand Prix due to injury.

Now, it’s either Zamboanga can exact vengeance or Ham can prove that she was the victor.
