Jordan will not leave anything to chance in the final window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Dar Tucker and Amin Abu Hawwas will lead the Falcons in their quest to punch the ticket for the global meet this October.
Jordan has one foot in the World Cup, holding a 4-4 record in Group E — a full two games ahead of Saudi Arabia.
The Falcons take on India (0-8) on the 24th and the Philippines (5-3) on the 27th. A win against India assures them a slot in the World Cup.
Tucker has been the lead man of Jordan in the Qualifiers, averaging 20.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per contest while Abu Hawwas is norming 14.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.6 steals.
Ahmad Al Dwairi, the third leading scorer and front board man of Jordan so far, is also in the lineup.
Completing the lineup are Zaid Abbas, Ahmad Alhamarsheh, Mohammad Hussein, Freddy Ibarahim, Sami Bzai, Hashem Abbaas, Caden Alnajdawi, Ashraf Alhendi, and the debuting Fadi Nader George Qarmash.
The team is already in Bengaluru.
The last time Gilas and the Falcons met was back in Window 5 with the Philippines winning, 74-66.
