Creamline is gearing up for a redemption bid as it welcomes American spiker Courtney Schwan for the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference next month.
The 29-year-old outside hitter from Auburn, Washington, last played for the Orlando Valkyries, where she was instrumental in leading the team to the Major League Volleyball championship.
“Super excited kami to share with you mga ka-vibes ang newest addition sa ating GV-kada! Sabay-sabay nating i-welcome si Courtney Schwan, ang ating pinakabagong Pink Volleybelle,” the Cool Smashers announced in a social media post.
A heavy responsibility now rests on Schwan’s shoulders, as the league’s winningest club looks to end its title drought that has stretched since its historic Grand Slam run in 2024.
The Cool Smashers finished runner-up in the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference and followed it up with back-to-back podium finishes in the PVL On Tour and Invitational Conference.
Schwan will bolster Creamline’s outside hitter rotation, which already features former league MVPs Alyssa Valdez and Jema Galanza.
