Blackwater will be getting a haul from Converge.
The Bossing received Mike DiGregorio, RK Ilagan, and Tyrus Hill from Converge in exchange for Barkley Ebona and their first round pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft.
The pick the FiberXers got was the first rounder they received from TNT during the three-team trade that also involved NLEX last March 2021.
DiGregorio, 31, is returning to the Ever Bilena-owned team as he played for them from 2017-19. The then-Elite shipped him to TNT for Brian Heruela back in October of 2019.
The 6-foot-1 Fil-Italian guard averaged 4.6 points last season.
Ilagan, meanwhile, is a 25-year-old spitfire guard who was the 31st overall pick of Alaska in 2020.
The product of San Sebastian normed 9.6 points, 3.1 assists, and 1.9 rebounds during the Commissioner’s Cup.
Hill, 25, is a 6-foot-5 athletic forward who struggled to find minutes with the FiberXers.
In exchange, Converge gets Ebona, a 6-foot-6 Cebuano who was the fourth overall pick in 2019.
Ebona was traded to Blackwater, along with Jvee Casio, in exchange for Mike Tolomia and a pick.
Ebona struggled to find minutes with the Bossing last conference.
What Converge covets the most is the 2023 pick as the draft is expected to be deep. The FiberXers previously did not have a first rounder for the draft set to take place in October.
