CJ Rosario was stretchered off the court after a bad landing early in the decisive third set of the 2019 PSL Invitationals bronze medal match between Foton and Cignal, Thursday afternoon.
Down by four in the said frame, 3-7, Rosario tried to ignite a scoring resurgence for the Tornadoes, who had their backs against the wall with a two-set deficit.
But as Rosario scored off a quick play, she landed awkwardly. She fell to the ground, then the medical staff rushed to check on her. Moments later, she was taken off the court.
According to the initial diagnosis, Rosario has suffered a sprained left knee. She will not return in the match.
