“Happy kasi although nagka-setback noong second set, nakita naman namin na trinabaho pa rin namin after sa next sets,” said Crossovers star Ara Galang, who led the team with 20 points on 16 attacks, three blocks, and an ace.

“Nakikita rin yung gaano rin katibay yung team namin sa ganoong situation eh so mahalaga na nate-test pa rin kami hanggang ngayon kasi sa quarterfinals hindi rin naman madali yung pagdadaanan namin,” the La Salle product added.

Rachel Ann Daquis attempted to force a deciding fifth set with a late push in the fourth, closing the gap to 18-19.

However, Cess Robles and Shaya Adorador stepped up to power Chery Tiggo’s strong finish, securing the win in two hours and 18 minutes.

Adorador delivered an impressive all-around performance with 18 points, 13 digs, and 11 receptions, while Robles added 13 points, 13 digs, and nine receptions.

Alina Bicar orchestrated the Crossovers’ offense with 17 excellent sets.

Substitute middle blockers Seth Rodriguez and Aby Maraño contributed seven and five points, respectively, despite only playing in the final three sets.
