Cebu Legion, five others climbs up to next phase Sibol Crossfire tryouts


Cebu Legion and five other teams qualified for the second phase of the Sibol Crossfire national team tryouts last Saturday.

Aside from the Cebuanos, SDGT, SJG Gaming, Gaon Gaming-REA7, TNC Pro Team, and MATTJESS also made it to the second phase.

All six teams from the first phase will join direct invitees Pacific Macta and Execration in the playoffs.

The winner of the qualifiers will represent the Philippines this May in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

In the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang qualifiers, Blacklist International, ONIC PH, Omega Esports, and Nexplay EVOS were joined by Bren Esports, RSG PH, Origen Esports, and El Ganador Esports in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Fennel Adversity will compete against Nigma Galaxy, GIGA, LF ADOPTION, Liyab Esports, Fervent Esports, GrindSky Esports, and Kosa Notra for the League of Legends: Wild Rift squad.

The playoffs for the three events will be on January 27 to 30.
