In line with their 10th consecutive championship in the UAAP Season 82 High School Boys Football Tournament, two members of Far Eastern University-Diliman earned themselves three individual citations for stellar displays during the season.
Pocholo Bugas and Jacob Garciano both added the cherries on top of another glorious chapter in FEU’s program. The former was named the Most Valuable Player, while the latter bagged the Best Striker and Best Midfielder awards.
Bugas, a member of the Philippine Men’s Under-23 National Football Team that competed in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, alternated between defense and midfield throughout the season.
It was the same for Garciano, playing in both the middle of the pitch and the final third. He got six goals in the process, two of which came in the finals against Nazareth School of National University.
Alimar Ambong, a stalwart in the backline for the Bullpups, was given the Best Defender Award for his valiant displays for NS-NU this season.
A trio from De La Salle-Zobel completed the individual awardees. Enrico Mangaoang was hailed as Best Goalkeeper, while Rafael Aldeguer was crowned as Rookie of the Year.
Lastly, Ateneo High School received the Fair Play Award.
