After almost a week of being stranded in a hotel, National Men’s Volleyball Team stalwart Bryan Bagunas finally got the clearance to come back home.
This as the 22-year-old received his swab test results on Thursday afternoon. He had tested negative.
Helping hasten the process for Bagunas were Bases Conversion and Development Authority President and CEO Vince Dizon, Department of Tourism secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat, and Philippine Sports Commission chairman Butch Ramirez.
Coming off a stint with Japanese club Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler, Bagunas arrived in the country late last week.
As part of the country’s preventive measures in its ongoing battle against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Overseas Filipino Workers are required to immediately undergo testing upon their arrival to the country.
This left Bagunas stranded at B Hotel in Alabang, waiting for his results since his arrival.
Bagunas went to social media to express his frustration on how long the process of getting the results was.
