Bren parts ways with KarlTzy

Bren Esports announced the departure of Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno from their team, Monday afternoon.

The 17-year-old superstar led the franchise to the MPL Philippines Season Six title and the M2 World Championship.

KarlTzy joined Bren Esports back in Season Five to form a super team with CJ “Ribo” Ribo, Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, and Allan “Lusty” Castromayor. All four players won gold in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Bren Esports, after winning the world title last year, crashed out of contention in the next two MPL Philippines series.

The team even missed the playoffs in Season Eight after finishing with a disappointing 5-9 record – good for seventh.

Also no longer part of the squad are Raven “L3bron” Alonzo and Dwine “Rimuru” Enriquez.
