BREN Esports silences Aura PH, remains unbeaten in MPL


BREN Esports stunned Aura PH, handing the defending champions their first loss of the season, 2-0, in the regular season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines, Sunday evening.

KarlTzy (Lancelot) once again led the charge for BREN, posting seven kills, a death, and two assists in the series-clinching Game Two.

BREN remain the only unbeaten team in the league, with a 3-0 card in Group B.

BREN’s early kills on Kielvj (Esmeralda), Rafflesia (Chou), and Greed_ (Kagura) in Game Two gave them the early game advantage, paving the way for KarlTzy to collect uncontested objectives throughout the game.

Banking on pick-offs after pick-offs, BREN was able to seal the deal after taking down the lord on the 10:21-mark of the match, which proved to be too much for Aura PH to defend.

FlapTzy (Khaleed) put up two kills and five assists, while Ribo had a KDA of two kills, a death, and seven assists.

Lusty (Khufra) and Pheww (Change) combined for four kills, a death, and 15 assists.

BREN limited Aura PH to just three kills in the match while also gathering a net worth of 39,000 compared to Aura’s 27,200.

Jaypee had a kill, a death, and two assists, while Kielvj had a rough outing with a kill, four deaths, and an assist for Aura, who now stands at 3-1 in Group A.

In other games, NXP Solid handed BSB a 2-0 defeat, while Execration also swept its match-up against Cignal Ultra, 2-0.

Through their respective victories, NXP Solid and Execration stand at identical 2-1 records tied at the second spot in Group A behind Aura PH.

On the other hand, BSB fell to a 0-4 hole in group B while Cignal suffered its second straight loss at 1-2 also in the same group.
