Reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera will test the remaining global candidates in the upcoming episode of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition”.
Vera is considered one of the most dominant World Champions in the organization after beating every single heavyweight thrown his way, from Igor Subora to Paul Cheng, and from Hideki Sekine to Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli.
It’s going to be an action-packed Episode 5. Vera joins the candidates in a dragon boat race, which will certainly test the core strength of the candidates.
Vera is the latest guest athlete on the show, following the appearances of Georges “Rush” St-Pierre, Renzo Gracie, ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee, and “Super” Sage Northcutt.
This will also be a pivotal episode for the candidates — particularly the remaining Filipino candidate in Louie Sangalang. He is the last remaining local candidate following Lara Pearl Alvarez’s elimination in Episode 3.
With two candidates from Sangalang’s team sacked in the last episode, all eyes will be on the athlete-entrepreneur as he continues his brilliant run on the show.
The winner of the competition after 13 action-packed and drama-filled episodes will receive a US$250,000 job offer to work directly under ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong for one year as his protege in Singapore.
Episode 5 of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” airs in the Philippines this Monday at 9 p.m. on One Sports.
