Signed, sealed, and delivered.
Top overall pick in the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft Brandon Rosser has been locked by Blackwater with a three-year, max deal on Thursday.
Rosser, 27, was with Virtual Playground chief Charlie Dy ,while the Bossing was represented by team manager Johnson Martinez in the signing held at Aero Center in Quezon City.
The 6-foot-7 Filipino-American out of UC Riverside, though, is still nursing a fractured right middle finger he sustained during the 31st Southeast Asian Games.
The injury takes at least three weeks to recover from, making Rosser unavailable for the start of the Bossing’s Philippine Cup campaign.
Rosser is expected to be a pivotal piece in Blackwater’s campaign this season.
Rosser can’t be traded by Blackwater as well in the next two years.
Prior to signing Rosser, Blackwater also signed Yousef Taha, Rey Publico, Mark Dyke, and Ato Ular.
