Parks Jr. crowned as ABL Local MVP

The hits just keep coming for Bobby Ray Parks Jr!

Though Alab Pilipinas did not make the 2017 ABL Finals this season, the ABL neophytes have something to celebrate. The 24-year-old combo guard led Alab to an 11-9 regular season record with norms of 19.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per contest. Moreover, he broke numerous ABL records this season, including scoring for locals with 41 points last December 11 and three-pointers made with eight last January 27.

However, his maiden ABL season was cut short after he suffered an injury during Game One of the semifinals.

This recognition is another trophy in Parks’ growing collection, as he has won the UAAP MVP twice and the PBA D-League’s top honor in 2015.
