Blacklist to field just five players in MPL PH three-peat bid

Blacklist International will be fielding in just five players for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Nine, the organization announced on Saturday night.

With the power tandem of Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario taking a break, the Tier One-backed organization will rely on veteran Mark “ESON” Gerardo and rookie Kent “KEVIER” Lopez to fill the hole left by the two stars.

The MVP trio of Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, Edward “Edward” Dapadap, and Salic “Hadji” Imam will lead Blacklist International squad in its three-peat quest.

Blacklist International won the last two MPL Philippines titles.

Aside from these, the team also secured silver medal finishes in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup and the ONE Esports MPL Invitational.

To cap off 2021, Blacklist International topped the M3 World Championship to become the second Filipino squad to win the M-series.

The MPL Philippines Season Nine will open its doors on February 18.
