Blacklist, Aura PH look to stun MPL-PH Season 6 finalists

Blacklist International flexed its might all throughout the regular season while Aura PH kept the ball rolling in the second half to finish at the top of their respective groups heading to the playoffs of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven.

The Tier One-backed squad posted a league-best 32 points through a 12-1 record in Group B with its sole loss coming from reigning MPL-Philippines and world champion Bren Esports.

Aura PH, meanwhile, collected a total of 26 points built on a 9-4 standing to make a last-ditch attempt for the top spot in Group A.

Blacklist International will have a crack on their regular season tormentor as they are set to face Bren Esports anew in upper bracket playoffs while Aura PH will take on Season Six grand finalist and M2 representative Smart Omega Esports on the other side.

Bren Esports and Omega Esports, who started off the season slow after their stint in the biggest stage of Mobile Legends in the globe, placed second in their respective groups.

Down in the lower bracket, Work Auster Force, who took the league by surprise after an outstanding showing in the regular season, will go up against fan favorite Nexplay Esports while Season Six third placer Execration will square off against ONIC PH.

All playoff matches will be a best-of-five series.

The MPL-Philippines Season Six playoffs will begin on May 26 starting with the Work-NXP bout followed by the upper bracket match-up between Aura PH and Omega Esports.
