On Saturday, David “FlapTzy” Canon became the newest inductee into MPL Philippines’ Hall of Legends, a collection of personalities who have made legendary contributions to the history of the league.
But more than celebrating this massive achievement, FlapTzy wants to be the epitome of someone who turned his dreams into reality.
Ako pa rin si FlapTzy, palaging masaya,” FlapTzy told Tiebreaker Times in an exclusive interview.
On the eve of the Alamat Awards ceremony, the 19-year-old explaner had no idea he was receiving one of the highest awards in the league.
He showed genuine reactions on stage as he was teary-eyed, looking at the video messages from the people closest to him, congratulating him on his newest milestone.
FlapTzy is a two-time M-series world champion along with the M5 World Championship MVP. He also won the MPL PH Season 12 Regular Season MVP award.
