Baloyskie confident either ONIC or Blacklist will take M3

ONIC PH team captain Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy is confident that the Philippine contingent in the upcoming M3 World Championship can continue what reigning world titlist Bren Esports has started in the previous iteration.

Speaking during the M3 Official Reveal and Group Draw, Baloyskie bared that both ONIC PH and Blacklist International are heading to the world meet more than ready to defend the Philippines’ crown which Bren Esports won last January.2021-M3-World-Championship-Blacklist-International Baloyskie confident either ONIC or Blacklist will take M3 ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

“We’re very confident to win back-to-back championships because ONIC [Philippines] and Blacklist [International] are very strong teams and I think we prepared for the best and we’re ready,” said the ONIC PH skipper.

Bren Esports put up an outstanding run in the M2 World Championship last January which saw them take out the best teams in the world such as Todak, Alter Ego, RRQ Hoshi, and Burmese Ghouls en route to the world title.

Unfortunately, after a dismal performance in the MPL Philippines Season Eight, Bren Esports failed to qualify for M3 which ended their dreams of defending their crown.

ONIC PH is part of the jam-packed Group B which includes reigning MPL Indonesia champion ONIC Esports, MPL Malaysia runner up Todak, MPL Brazil second placer KEYD.

“We respect all teams but we want to stick in our strengths so we want them to play in our style,” said ONIC PH coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda.

“So those teams need to prepare for us.”
