SMART Omega, Execration to open MPL-PH 7 hostilities


Season Seven of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines will roll its carpet on March 19 with Season Six grand finalist Smart Omega Esports and third placer Execration kicking off the Friday double-header. 

Omega Esports, who lost coach Steven “DaleDalus” Vitug to Aura PH following their brave stand in the M2 World Championship, will be going up against a new-look Execration squad that has two-time champions Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez and Renz “Renzio” Cadua joining forces with star tank Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog in Group B action.

Meanwhile, Season Two champion Cignal Ultra and newcomers Work Auster Force will complete the double-header to open Group A hostilities.

Cignal will be parading former Blacklist International sidelaner Arvie “Aquaboy” Calderon and rookie Jefferson “Kekedot” Mogol against the Daniel “Chuuu” Chu-led Work Auster Force.

The Omega Esports-Execration bout will start at 6:00 p.m. while Cignal and WoRk will go up against each other at 7:30 p.m.

On the other hand, BREN Esports will start their title defense bid against ONIC PH in the following day at 7:30 p.m. Work Auster Force will open Day Two against Aura PH at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Nexplay Esports-Playbook Esports face off at 6:00 p.m.

Day Three, which is slated on March 21, Sunday, will feature the Aura PH against Blacklist International match at 4:30 p.m. followed by Cignal and Omega Esports at 6:00 p.m. and BREN Esports and Nexplay Esports at 7:30 p.m. to conclude Week One.
