B.League: Thirdy Ravena cools down vs Kyoto as San-En skid continues

After dropping a season-best 26 points yesterday, Thirdy Ravena misfired as San-En fell to Kyoto, 62-79, in the 2021-22 B.League season, Sunday at Kyoto City Gymnasium.

Ravena went just 4-of-11 from the field for 11 points. The NeoPhoenix sophomore also tallied four rebounds and four assists in the loss that was their fifth straight.

It was a wire-to-wire win for the Hannaryz.

Up by just eight points, 64-56, the duo of Jerome Tillman and Justin Harper powered a 15-6 finishing rally to put San-En away.

Harper had a game-high 30 points with 12 rebounds, while Tillman added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Tatsuya Suzuki added 13 points as well for Hokkaido, who went up to 6-23 in the standings.

San-En, who fell to 4-24, was led by Robert Carter, who had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Yoshiyuki Matsuwaki got 16 points as well.

San-En looks to bounce back on Wednesday when it faces Gunma at Toyohashi City Gymnasium.
