Ray Parks has finally been unleashed, powering Nagoya to a 101-75 bounce back win over Mikawa in the 2021-22 B.League season, Sunday at Wing Arena.
In just his fourth start of the season, Parks dropped a personal B.League-best, 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Parks already caught fire in the first quarter, scoring seven of the Diamond Dolphins’ 20 points to gain an 11-point lead. Nagoya also started the game with a 13-0 spurt.
In the third canto, Parks came out firing once more, draining three straight triples to give his side a 54-28 lead.
It was a huge win for Parks and Nagoya as they head to the break with an 8-6 record while dropping Mikawa to 9-5.
Scott Eatherton also had 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting with 14 rebounds. Tenketsu Harimoto got 15 points on three treys as well.
Jarrod Uthoff led the way for the Seahorses with 24 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Yudai Nishida and Ryogo Sumino finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Parks and Nagoya will next face Shimane on December 4.
