Kemark Carino and Aomori suffered a crushing 101-66 loss by Nara to close out their week in the 2021-22 B.League Division II season, Sunday at Roth Arena.
Carino, who was not fielded yesterday, played 19 minutes in the contest. The product of San Beda went 0-of-3 from the field with a rebound.
Bambitious got a hot start early, dropping 28 points in the opening frame behind the duo of Greg Mangano and David Doblas. The defense also held its job, limiting Aomori to just 14 points.
It was all Nara from there as it led for in double-digits the rest of the way, with the lead reaching as high as 39 points late in the final frame.
Nara, who went up to 6-11 in the standings, was led by the 29 points and 15 rebounds of Doblas. Mangano added 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting with nine rebounds.
Takuya Komoda and Dai Suzuki also had 13 and 11 points, respectively, as both knocked down three treys each.
Aomori, on the other hand, went down to a league-worst 1-16 standing.
Ryan Richards was the high point man for the Wat’s with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Kiichi Kikuyama scored 16 points from the bench, with half of his points coming from the charity stripe, while Hayate Komosawa got 15 points.
Carino and Aomori will next face Juan Gomez de Liaño and Tokyo Z next weekend at Hachinohe City East Gymnasium.
