Aura PH outlasts ONIC PH in El Clasico, advances to next round of ONE: MPLI

Aura PH contained Dlar and Iy4knu to seal Game Three and eliminate archrival ONIC PH, 2-1, in the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational, Sunday afternoon.

Aura PH will be moving on to the quarterfinals and face reigning MPL-Philippines champion BREN Esports.

The two-time MPL-Philippines champion limited Iy4knu (Ruby) to just two kills, five deaths, and four assists while Dlar (Yu Zhong) was held to just a kill, four deaths, and two assists in Game Three which lasted for 20 minutes and 53 seconds.

Bennyqt (Lunox) finished with seven kills, five deaths, and 10 assists in Game Three to backstop Aura PH’s assassin heavy composition. He scored two double kills in the final 50 seconds of the match which spelled doom for ONIC PH.

Despite a slow start, the former Execration core was able to bounce back in the latter part to supply Aura PH with its much-needed damage to bag the winner-take-all Game Three.

Meanwhile, Killuash had another solid outing for Aura PH, putting up three kills, a death, and eight assists using Barats while Hadess ended up with two kills, a death, and nine assists with Ling.

The supporting cast of Jaypee (Natalia) and Greed_ supplied eight kills and 16 assists in total in the victory.

Aura PH spoiled a phenomenal performance from Hated, who finished Game Three with seven kills, three deaths, and an assist. Kairi (Lancelot), meanwhile, had decent numbers of six kills, two deaths, and two assists.

ONIC PH had the chance to close out the series after a strong Game One performance, but Aura PH managed to hang on in Game Two all thanks to Jaypee’s Harith.
