ASEAN Para Games: Sibol continues dominant run in ML for Team PH


Philippines continued with its MLBB dominance in the region after easily taking the gold medal in the 12th ASEAN Para Games.

Sibol breezed through the competition in the ASEAN para games, finishing undefeated and not feeling threatened all throughout the tournament.

They opened their campaign with a 2-0 romp of Cambodia, followed by similar sweeps against Thailand and Malaysia.

In the gold medal match, they dominated Malaysia with a 3-0 route to clinch the gold medal.

The squad was led by former MPL Philippines player Mike Ace Chester Gonzales long with Jasper Lorenz Desingaño Ambat, Marvin Angelo Rañon Ignacio, Ashly Josh Sisno Paghubasan, Joshua Gatela Detera and coached by Francis “Duckey” Glindro and Vrendon “Vren” Pesebre

Earlier this year, Sibol Men’s MLBB, bannered by members of the Bren Esports squad, also took the gold medal in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.
