Arellano Lady Chiefs core, Shola Alvarez join Tacloban in PVL


The Premier Volleyball League will have a new team in its stacked field for the 2018 Reinforced Conference.

Joining the Creamline Cool Smashers, the Pocari Sweat-Air Force Lady Warriors, the Bali Pure Purest Water Defenders, Banko-Perlas Spikers, and Petro Gazz Angels are the Tacloban Fighting Warays.

The Fighting Warays will have Nes Pamilar as head coach while the team will be managed by sports patron Dan Palami. Chooks-to-Go will also support the team.

The Arellano core of Jovielyn Prado, Regine Arocha, and Mary Anne Esguerra will spearhead the team while NCAA Season 93 Women’s Volleyball Most Valuable Player will be the team’s focal point for offense.

Pamilar has also secured Vira Guillema, Judith Abil, Kyle Negrito, Eunice Galang, Seth Rodriguez, and Bangladesh Pantaleon. Thai legend Patcharee Sangmuang will be the team’s import.
