Parañaque put the clamps on Taguig to remain spotless, 58-37, in the Pia Cayetano 2021 WNBL Season at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, Sunday.
Allana Lim unloaded 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field, 13 rebounds, three steals, and two assists. She powered the Lady Aces to 2-0, just behind league leader Glutagence.
Defense was the name of the game for Parañaque, holding the Lady Generals to single-digit thrice in four quarters.
The only period Taguig barged double figures was in the third, where it managed 13 points.
Meanwhile, the Lady Aces scored double-digits in all four frames.
April Siat added eight points and seven rebounds off the bench. Meanwhile, Jhenn Angeles and AJ Gloriani did the facilitating with six and five assists, respectively.
On the other hand, Janeth Sison was the lone Lady General in twin digits with 10 points.
Capilit, yesterday’s leader for Taguig, was checked and limited to just eight points on a measly 2-of-10 shooting. She also committed six turnovers.
Monique Del Carmen did not suit up for the second-straight game.
The Lady Generals slipped to 1-1, good for the third spot.
