Akari beefs up, signs Santiago-Manabat, Victoria

Akari’s frontline has become bigger as the team signed middle blockers Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Cams Victoria.

The team made the announcement over the day.

Santiago-Manabat, 29, is a two-time V-League Most Valuable Player and a two-time best middle blocker in the Philippine Superliga.

The older sister of Jaja was also instrumental in Chery Tiggo’s championship run in the 2021 PVL Open Conference.

With the signing, the 6-foot-2 Santiago-Manabat ended her six-year stay with the Chery Tiggo franchise.
