There’s no stopping Aby Maraño from collecting coveted hardware — not even the dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Even in the absence of sporting events due to the health crisis, the national team captain reached another milestone after receiving a Silver Play Button for her YouTube channel Abigail Maraño.
Known for her Vlog-galag videos, the F2 Logistic stalwart and multi-titled athlete shared the good news on her Instagram account on Thursday morning.
“Thank you so much Swishiees! Thank you for appreciating Vlog-galag. Hobby ko lang magshoot ng memories namin and YouTube is the only platform na puwede ko ma-save lahat even na wala na kong copy sa gadgets ko. Ngayon, naka one-hundred thousand subscribers na!” Maraño wrote.
“Special thanks sa aking mga teammates na always game for vloggalag and more fun!”
Also called the Silver Creator Award, the silver plaque is given to Youtube content creators who have reached 100,000 subscribers.
As of writing, Maraño has 50 videos on her channel. She creates videos of her training and bonding moments with her teammates, as well as prank and travel vlogs.
Needless to say, Maraño won’t be stopping anytime soon.
“Hindi ko inexpect na magugustuhan nyo,” she admitted.
“Will keep filming fun memories during our downtimes para makilala niyo kami ng lubos outside the volleyball court.”
