In his lone year with Abra Solid North, Chiu averaged 5.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks across 21 games, playing a key role in the team’s historic run to the 2025 MPBL national title.

During the MPBL season, Chiu also declared for the 2025 PBA Draft, where he was selected first overall by the Dyip.2025-PBA-Draft-Terrafirma-Geo-Chiu Abra owner Bernos wishes Geo Chiu well ahead of Terrafirma move Uncategorized - philippine sports news

Chiu is expected to sign a three-year maximum contract with Terrafirma in the coming days.

Under PBA rules, had he chosen not to sign with the Dyip, he would have been barred from playing in the league for the next three years.

Terrafirma, meanwhile, will not be allowed to trade Chiu until after two seasons.
