Aaron Fuller is set for another PBA gig.
The seasoned import will reinforce Rain or Shine for the Season 49 Governors’ Cup, the team announced through its official social media pages Tuesday.
Coach Yeng Guiao has gone with familiarity by signing the 34-year-old. The two have worked together with NLEX in 2017 and 2018 in the same conference.
It will be his fifth stint in the league.
Fuller had also suited up for Blackwater and TNT in the past as a replacement on both occasions, but those stops were cut short by injuries.
Now, the former USC Trojan gets another opportunity — and as a first-choice import, too, unlike during his three previous campaigns.
A pro since 2013, Fuller is expected to provide leadership to one of the PBA’s youngest teams, which recently stocked up on fresher talent in the Draft.
His upcoming tour of duty also gives him a chance to reach the league semis. Fuller had been in the quarterfinals during his stints, except with the Bossing.
Rain or Shine is coming off a semis finish in the Season 48 Philippine Cup, where it fell to June Mar Fajardo and eventual runners-up San Miguel.
