The Canadian national basketball team arrived Sunday afternoon at the Mall of Asia Arena for a practice session as part of the team’s preparation for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Manila, Philippines.
Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson, who arrived in Manila last night, was already part of the contingent along with other NBA players like Cory Joseph, Joey Anthony, and Anthony Bennett.
Canada, though, were without team manager Steve Nash. The former two-time NBA MVP is reportedly arriving on opening day.
