Lebanon will not bring the big guns for the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers’ final window.
Already assured of a spot in the global meet this August, the Cedars will instead use the window to give some of their inexperienced players playing time.
Wael Arakji, who torched the Philippines during Window 4, will not be making the trip to the Philippines on the 24th and New Zealand on the 27th.
Arakji averaged 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 steals.
Also out are Ali Haidar, Jonathan Arledge, and Ater Majok. Antiguan-Lebanese big man Norvel Pelle will also not make the trip.
