Nakhon Ratchasima stayed winless in the 2021-22 Volleyball Thailand League playoffs, yielding to undefeated Supreme Chonburi, 12-25, 15-25, 20-25, Saturday at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok.
Dindin Santiago-Manabat came off the bench and was the reliever of fellow Filipina Mylene Paat. The match that lasted just 1 hour and 17 minutes.
But the former still made the most damage for Nakhon Ratchasima with 11 points including nine in the third set.
Meanwhile, Paat was ineffective in her attacks and was held to just two points. She did not play in the third frame.
Veteran middle blocker Pleumjit Thinkaow, 38, led Supreme Chonburi anew together with Kannika Thipachot and Sutadta Chuewulim.
Kannika Thipachot led the balanced attack of Supreme Chonburi with 13 points while Sutadta Chuewalim and Watchareeya Nuanjam got 12 points apiece.
Thinkaow also provided the goods with nine points.
Dropping to 0-2, Nakhon Ratchasima slid to the bottom of the four-team field.
The squad of the Filipino imports will finish the seeding round tomorrow against Khonkaen Star at 11:45 am.
After the games tomorrow, the semifinals will begin next week. The top seed will face the fourth spot, while the second and third ranks will collide in the other bracket.
