VP asks for privacy for Jema Galanza

Jema Galanza pleaded for privacy through her management Virtual Playground on Wednesday.

The statement came in the wake of breakup rumors swirling online with her long-time girlfriend and Choco Mucho setter Deanna Wong.

Virtual Playground opened the statement by thanking Galanza’s fans who supported Creamline in its runner-up finish to Chery Tiggo in the 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference finals.

“On behalf of our talent, Jessica Margaret Galanza, we would like to thank the public for their support on the recently concluded Premier Volleyball League,” the statement opened.

“We saw her hard work alongside her whole team throughout the season the season even if they came short for the championship, their sacrifices and your prayers are indeed gold.”

Rumors of the power couple’s breakup have already started prior to the PVL bubble in Ilocos.

Now in the midst of a social media storm, Galanza would like to keep things in private — just like what it should be.2021-PVL-Open-Creamline-vs.-Chery-Tiggo-Finals-G3-Jema-Galanza-6779 VP asks for privacy for Jema Galanza News PVL Volleyball - philippine sports news

“We would like to humbly request you to allow her to take her time off to rest and be with her family this post-season. Let us give her the privacy she needs to attend to her personal matters,” said the agency.

“We encourage everyone to take this time of ECQ to also focus on more important matters instead of rumor-mongering not to afflict inconveniences to anyone. Let us focus more on our personal physical and mental health.”

Both Galanza and Wong remained mum on the matter.

“Jema extends her sincerest gratitude to everyone for your utmost respect as she prays for everyone’s safety and healing.”
