VIDEO: Kevin Alas on practicing like never before for Australia clash


With SMART Gilas Pilipinas facing its tallest and toughest task so far in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, the team is practicing like never before to make our countrymen proud.

Here is Kevin Alas’ take on the upcoming contest that will air live on ESPN5 at 4:30pm on Thursday, February 22.

“We are going to practice like never before. Alam naman natin kung gaano kalakas yung team na ‘yun,” shared Alas, who together with Kiefer Ravena will have the assignment of filling in the big shoes of the best point guard in Asia Jayson Castro.

But it won’t be just Gilas competing as every Filipino all over the world will be with them in this fight. That is why the young Gilas guard hopes that everyone shows their support on social media come tip-off.
