UST Growling Tigresses partner with World Balance ahead of UAAP Season 88

The University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigresses will be donning new gear in UAAP Season 88 after entering into a partnership with local sportswear brand World Balance.

As the team’s official outfitter, World Balance will provide high-performance apparel designed to support the Tigresses’ trademark speed, grit, and relentless drive.

“This partnership is about standing behind our athletes and giving them what they need to perform at their best,” said Barnaby Chong, Chairman & CEO of World Balance.

“It’s about building their confidence, supporting their hard work, and being part of their journey this season.”

Head coach Haydee Ong welcomed the collaboration, noting that it comes at a pivotal moment for the team.

“Season 88 is our chance to show that UST WBT is stronger, faster, and hungrier than ever. World Balance gives us that extra edge from training to game day,” Ong said.

Fr. Rodel Cansancio, OP, IPEA Director, added that the partnership highlights the shared values of both UST and World Balance.

“World Balance understands the heart of UST — tradition, excellence, and teamwork. This partnership is proof of what can happen when shared values come together for a common goal,” the UAAP Season 88 President said.

At the center of the collaboration is World Balance’s campaign Believe We Can, which promotes confidence, hard work, and determination.

The Tigresses’ own mantra, BTS: Believe, Trust, Surrender, aligns with the campaign, uniting faith and perseverance as the team prepares for the upcoming season.

This year, UST also takes on the role of host of UAAP Season 88, which carries the theme of unity, resilience, and the power of sports to inspire.
