Lady Archers sweep Lady Warriors aside for back-to-back victory

The De La Salle University Lady Shuttlers followed up their sweep from the previous matchday with another, meeting little resistance from the University of the East Lady Warriors.

Nicole Albo made an effortless dispatch of Lyra Rosal 21-6, 21-8 to open the tie.

Arianne Rivera made even quicker work in her singles match right after, obliterating a hapless Riella Dilla, 21-3, 21-6.

Iyah Sevilla and Lindsay Tercias were then tasked to clinch the tie, and they did so in masterful fashion, routing Erycka Labay and Pamela Fernandez 21-18, 21-6.

Albo and Isay Leonardo made it four to nothing with a 21-11, 21-12 takedown of Rosal sisters Lyra and Heidi.
Sevilla then completed the sweep, dismantling Labay with ease 21-8, 21-6.

The Lady Shuttlers’ perfect showing for the day places La Salle second in the standings. and they are brimming with confidence ahead of a crucial tie with the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles.

La Salle (3-1) will meet archrivals Ateneo (3-1) Sunday, October 1, starting at 1pm; at the same time, UE (0-5) will continue to search for that first win against UST (0-4).
