For the longest time, Leon Gilmore has been practicing with TNT.
On Saturday, he will finally be unleashed.
TNT has activated its standby import Leon Gilmore III for its do-or-die clash with Ginebra on Saturday.
The development was first reported by SPIN.ph.
Aaron Fuller, who replaced McKenzie Moore last December 26, played nine games for TNT.
However, according to TNT team manager Gabby Cui, Fuller suffered a calf injury last Wednesday during TNT’s 92-104 loss to Ginebra.
Fuller averaged 17.4 points, 16.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.6 blocks per contest.
In Gilmore, TNT gets a former G-League player.
After two years with Division I school Stephen F. Austin, the 6-foot-6 forward went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft.
He played for Wisconsin Herd and Texas Legends in the G League.
