TNC parts ways with ImbaDeejay, P-GOD, Light

After a disappointing MPL Philippines Season Eight campaign, TNC parted ways with three of its key pieces, the organization announced on Monday night.

Gone from the roster are Dylan “Light” Catipon and Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra, and veteran Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe.

Light and P-GOD played a pivotal role in Work Auster Force’s stellar performance in the Season Seven main qualifiers that saw them earn a ticket to the big league.

Meanwhile, ImbaDeejay came into the team shortly after it was acquired by the TNC organization for the franchise-based MPL Philippines Season Eight.

Expectations were high for TNC, but the team failed to live up to expectations after struggling the entire Season Eight.

TNC only had four wins in 14 outings and placed last in the regular season — causing the team to miss the playoffs.

Still with the squad are Daniel “Chuuu” Chu, Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, Clarense “Kousei” Guzman, Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo, Landher “Der” San Gabriel, and Ben “Benthings” Maglaque.
