Another B.League star has answered the call of duty.
Thirdy Ravena arrived in the country on Tuesday evening. He will join Gilas Pilipinas’ training session at Moro Lorenzo Gym in Quezon City.
The last time Ravena played in Gilas was during the first window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
During that game, the 6-foot-2 winger out of Ateneo posted numbers of 23 points, eight rebounds, and three assists against Indonesia.
Ravena made his seniors team debut during the last window of the 2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
With him joining the team that will compete in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers later this month, Ravena will miss San-En’s (4-27) back-to-back against Shiga (9-17) on February 26 and 27 at Hamamatsu Arena.
Ravena is averaging 12.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 29 games played.
Also called up by Gilas is Toyama’s Dwight Ramos.
