The Green Run at Vermosa returns for fourth consecutive year

The Green Run at Vermosa is back for its fourth straight year this June, reaffirming its commitment to fitness, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and youth sports development.

Entitled Vermosa Green Run 2025: A Force of Four in Year 4, this year’s event takes off on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Vermosa Estate in Imus, Cavite. Ayala Land’s flagship multi-level running event features 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K race categories and introduces a new Plastic Donation and Collection Drive.

Participants are encouraged to bring used plastics, which will be collected and repurposed by Ayala Land Estates Inc. and Makati Development Corporation (MDC).

These plastics will be transformed into sustainable construction materials — such as concrete aggregates — for building sidewalks and fences, contributing to Ayala Land’s green development initiatives. Donors will receive a discounted registration rate as an incentive.

Returning for the third year is the well-loved 1K Dog Run, a crowd favorite introduced in 2023. This fun and meaningful activity highlights Ayala Land’s advocacy for animal welfare, giving pet owners a chance to bond with their furry companions while promoting fitness and compassion for animals.

Also participating are the young athletes of Takbo Kabitenyo, a 200-member strong local running group composed of young runners who compete in marathons across the country. These athletes benefit from training, mentorship, and access to Vermosa’s world-class sports facilities, all part of Ayala Land’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

Proceeds from the event will benefit several advocacy partners:

  • Pawssion Project, which promotes animal welfare
  • Haribon Foundation, a leader in reforestation efforts
  • Takbo Kabitenyo, supporting young athletes through development programs

“Each step you take at the Vermosa Green Run supports a bigger cause—combining fitness, sustainability, and community support into one meaningful event,” said Chrissy Roa, Ayala Land Estates’ Head of Marketing and Communications.

Now widely recognized as a benchmark for purpose-driven lifestyle events, the Vermosa Green Run underscores Ayala Land’s long-term vision for sustainability, proving that fitness can be a powerful driver of environmental and social impact.
