Official UAAP Men’s Basketball second round schedule

UPDATE: Host school UST has confirmed that this schedule is official.

Tiebreaker Times has just obtained a copy of the tentative schedule for the second round of the UAAP Men’s Basketball tournament. It had yet to be signed by the host school, the University of Santo Tomas, but sources have said that this will most likely be the schedule for the tournament.

The UAAP Basketball tournament will have three venues in the round. Outside of the usual arenas, the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City will host three play dates.

The round’s opening weekend will be played at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Opening the weekend are UST versus the University of the East and the Ateneo de Manila University versus University of the Philippines, while the top four teams in the standings duke it out on Sunday.

The rivalry game between the De La Salle University Green Archers and the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 5. The first game of that game day, UE versus the National University, will have a special start time of 12:00nn.

One of the most anticipated bouts for the season, the second round encounter between coach Aldin Ayo’s Green Archers and the defending champions, coach Nash Racela and the Tamaraws, is scheduled to happen a week after Ateneo-La Salle, November 12, at 4:00pm.

Here is the rest of the schedule:
