TBSL 3×3: Uratex, Discovery place 2-3

Philippine women’s 3×3 basketball club teams Uratex and Discovery finished on the podium in the 2022 3×3 Basketball Thailand Super League tournament.

The Dream bowed to Thailand’s Shooot it Dragons in the final, 11-17, to settle for second place in the tournament on Thursday.

Alyssa Villamor rallied Uratex back from an early deficit, cutting the Dragons’ lead down to 10-11. However, the hosts pulled away with a killer 6-1 spurt to finish the Philippine side.

Villamor got six points to pace Uratex, who defeated Discovery in the semis, 21-20 (9:31.2).

Kaye Pingol added four markers as Tina Deacon was limited to just a point.

Meanwhile, Perlas also landed on the podium after defeating Thailand’s Sriracha Eagle, 21-18 (9:27.8).

Tied at 17-all, Allana Lim took charge, scoring on an and-one play and two clutch buckets — including the winner.

Lim got 15 points while Hazelle Yam chipped in four points.
