Tamsi activated by Phoenix Super LPG

Another KCS-Mandaue player has been called up by his mother team.

Al Francis Tamsi will be activated by Phoenix Super LPG for its game against NorthPort on Wednesday as Chris Banchero is still sidelined.

Team manager Paolo Bugia confirmed the development first reported by Spin.ph.

“He’s our 16th man. Activated for the game against Northport since di pa kaya ni Chris,” said Bugia.

Tamsi, a 6-foot-1 guard, played for two years in TNT from 2016-18.

After that, the product of Far Eastern University joined MPBL club Iloilo, before signing with KCS Computer Specialist in the VisMin Super Cup.

Tamsi was pivotal during their campaign in the south, scoring 11 points in the championship decider.

He joins Ping Exciminiano and Gryann Mendoza as KCS players who have been called back up to the PBA.
