Tab Baldwin opens ‘The Player Basketball Clinic’

A summer clinic like never before

Continuing his journey of using basketball as a tool to teach discipline and camaraderie, Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles head coach Tab Baldwin, together with SMART Sports, is opening a basketball clinic for young aspirants.

Baldwin’s goals for this summer camp are four-fold.

The first two goals are to help develop the aspirants’ basketball IQ and skillset. More important, though, is that the camp wants to impart the values of self-confidence and love for the game.

“We want the participants to enjoy the game of basketball by focusing on the skill, the effort, and the attitude. That is what builds The Player,” Baldwin said.

“With this, we are hoping that this attitude will carry over to every task they have to accomplish in life.”

The camp is open to boys and girls, ages 8 to 16. The four-day camp is set to take place on May 14, 16, 17, and 18 at the Ateneo High School Covered Courts.

The Player Basketball Clinic is supported by Chooks-to-Go and Cignal TV.
