Smart Omega Empress clinched their first-ever grand finals ticket in the history of the MLBB Women’s Invitational after a dominant display against Russian squad Victory Song Gamers, winning 3-0 in the semi-finals of the 2024 edition on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Filipinas quickly reached match point after a 10-minute victory in Game 1, courtesy of a near shutout 12-1 kill score, followed by a 14-minute victory in Game 2.
Empress continued to pounce on their opponents in Game 3, cruising to a comfortable 10-minute victory to clinch the series.
They will face defending champion Team Vitality in the title match later tonight.
