Shiga still includes Kiefer Ravena in 12-man B.League roster

B.League club Shiga remains dead set on having Kiefer Ravena on its opening day roster.

The Lakestars included the NLEX ace during its announcement of its lineup.

“Thank you for your continued support of Shiga Lakestars. We are pleased to inform you that Shiga Lakestars has decided on the opening roster for the 2021-22 season,” read the team’s announcement.

“In the future, if there is an accident etc., there is a possibility that additional reinforcement will be done, but at the moment we are planning to start with these 12 people.

Ravena played 47 games with NLEX over the last four years. He has yet to gain clearance from the PBA to leave for Japan, however.

The 27-year-old combo guard is still practicing with the Road Warriors.

Alongside Ravena, Ovie Soko, Novar Gadson, and Sean O’Mara will be the Lakestars’ reinforcements.

Meanwhile, completing the team are Reon Shibuta, Tomomasa Ozawa, Tomonori Imagawa, Teppei Kashiwagura, Daichi Nomoto, Shotaro Hayashi, Naoto Moriyama, and Koya Kawamata.

Luis Guil is the team’s head coach.
