Servania stops compatriot Lulu to claim vacant WBO Asia Pacific belt

“Azukal” continues his winning ways in the Land of the Rising Sun

Over the weekend, Genesis “Azukal” Servania (29-0, 12KOs) has claimed the vacant WBO Asia-Pacific belt with a second round stoppage of compatriot Ralph Jhon Lulu (12-2-2) at the Sangyo Hall in Ishikawa, Japan last Saturday.

In a rare all-Filipino showdown in foreign soil, Azukal did not skip a beat as he made quick work of Lulu, stopping him in the second round.

Servania remains undefeated despite an 11 month-hiatus. He adds another title to his resume and his first at the 126-pound division.

Fellow Filipino Ernie Sanchez (17-9-1) scored a knockout win in the undercard. The 25-year old stopped Japanese veteran Hurricane Futa (22-7-1) also in the second round.
